Hello Mike, bet you are freezing your sox off!! Aahh, the joys of a european winter...... Wow Poland looks amazing [if bleak].. How is it all going ,Mike.? Can be pretty tiring constant travelling, and meeting ever changing people, with english as a 2nd language!! But wonderfully stimulating and challenging... life in Australia put in perspective somewhat...ie we have it pretty good most of the time, dont we?
You will surely be a wiser man for all this adventure.... Will be lovely to see you whenever, wherever, someplace, sometime! Lots of Love Helen xx

Beautiful Mike.

I can't wait to travel to that part of the world.

Interesting words about the Russians... there were hundreds on our island in the Philippines and they certainly kept to themselves, never spoke to anyone other than fellow Russians. Big groups of miserable looking, bikini-clad girls, apparantly hired out for a few weeks, taken on holidays to hang out on the beach and make the men look good. Hmm.

Stay warm and have fun my little bruv.

Hello mate,

Nice to read about our Christmas together, although it seems like a lifetime ago now. Some great shots of Barcelona's classics too.

Keep on enjoying that cold, cold European winter!

The open air museum looks pretty good, I bet its one of those places which is a little better in the summer, but I would have liked to go there when we were there. Hopefully in the next place you went you didn't have to have cold showers and wash your teeth in the sink!
The offer still stands if you want to soak up some UK and Oxford culture; surely better than simply experiencing Stansted airport which consequently isn't even one of the better airports.

'Take me to the nearest famous city middle where they hang the lights...'

Stumbled here accidentally - I recommend getting away from the Old Town. Try for example Pirita, Kadriorg, Kakumäe... Old town is like a big tourist trap – of course it’s boring to “my eye” because I have to walk there every day. So I’m possibly not the on with most objective PoW n here, but…

And isn’t the rainy winter just adorable! :D

If you like to see something exotic you can always check out Kalamaja, its one of the last pre –WW1 wooden districts in the Europe I guess. Or former soviet military bases – now deserted and given over to Nature. And of course soviet City-Utopias like Lasnamägi, Õismägi districts…
